Marina began her first steps in a little town in Venezuela. After many years of hard training as a little girl, she moved to the City where she continued her ballet training with Russian teachers. After a few years of intensive training and performing in Caracas, Marina won a scholarship to continue her ballet studies in Moscow, Russia. She spent 4 years at the GITIS (SITA) learning Vaganova’s Ballet method with recognized ballet dancers, teachers, and choreographers. She was accredited with a certificate as a teacher and choreographer.
In the lat 20 years, Marina worked as a ballet dancer, teacher, and choreographer in Venezuela, Puerto Rico, New York, and New Jersey. Marina’s repertory includes classical ballet and other original works by different choreographers.

Alex

Hip-Hop Teacher

Alex started dancing at the age of four. At the young age of six, she was accepted as a member of the competition team for my local studio. She went on to compete in both regional and national competitions for over ten years. At the age of ten, was accepted into the Miami City Ballet School where studied for two years while still competing. Alex was casted in Miami City Ballet’s 2002 production of “The Nutcracker,” totaling thirteen performances in three weeks. The summer of 2002, she journeyed to Hastings, London to study at a stage school for three weeks. There she learned songs and dances from the productions “Les Miserables,” “Greece” and more. Alex was invited to return to London for a performance with the stage camp. Performed in local fairs, carnivals, art centers, schools and charity events my entire dance career. Was a soloist on the Intensity competition team for four years. In 2007, she was awarded the Intensity Dancers’ Studio scholarship. In high school, Alex took dance classes at school as well as at a studio. Her courses at school included lessons on dance history, choreography, dance anatomy and kinesiology. She was a member of the American Heritage Dance Ensemble for two years and was one of ten students selected for the American Heritage Dance Company. In 2007, a trio she choreographed was chosen to perform at the annual Winter Dance Concert. Her sophomore year of high school, she was awarded the Spirit of Dance award at American Heritage School. She was a member of the International Thespians Society where received a Superior award for her performance in a pantomime. Alex was on the stage makeup crew for American Heritage’s production of “CATS.” Throughout her dance career, she also enjoyed teaching the younger children. In 2008, Alex decided not to compete anymore but instead to pursue her love for teaching dance. Alex began teaching dance at Intensity Dancers’ Studio and Nu Age Gymnastics and Dance.
